Establishing agreements for the management of Indigenous Lands.

The Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon (COIAB) is one of the regional organization withinf the indigenous movement that, at the national level, forms part of the national Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB).

We operate in nine states of the Brazilian Amazon (Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins). The COIAB works in coordination with
a network composed of local associations, regional federations, women’s organizations, teachers and indigenous students, and subdivided into 64 grassroots organizations in the Amazon region
